Ignition coil pack

The main function of the ignition coil and its components is to convert the low-voltage direct current of the battery into a high-voltage pulse current, which is provided to the spark plug to generate sparks, thereby igniting the air/fuel mixture in the cylinder. It consists of an iron core, a primary coil and a secondary coil and works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When the primary coil is energized and disconnected, the secondary coil will induce a high-voltage pulse of tens of thousands of volts, which is transmitted to the corresponding spark plug through the high-voltage cable, generating an electric spark sufficient to ignite the mixture. The ignition coil ensures that the engine obtains sufficient high-voltage discharge at the correct ignition sequence. It is a key component to ensure smooth ignition, combustion, and operation of the engine. Its performance directly affects the engine’s power output and fuel economy.
